A passionate environmentalist, an avid hiker, and a lifelong National Park enthusiast, Farhad enjoyed every second spent outdoors. He believed that nature is a sanctuary where one’s spirit is lifted and where one can escape from world’s unkindness. Farhad believed that nature could nourish you to a healthier self and stimulate your creating and saving environment to make a better world.
 
His 57-years of life, while incredibly rich and inspiring to all whose lives he touched, was too short for him to finish sharing his deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and instill in others such awareness. Farhad loved capturing that beauty with his stunning photography of outdoor scenes in all seasons in many National Parks we traveled.
 
In his loving memory and to honor his passion for nature, I would like for you to consider donation in his name to the National Park Foundation to keep his legacy alive for generations to come. With your help and support we can keep Farhad in our memories while contributing to his desire to maintain the beauty of the National Parks he enjoyed so much.
